Alternative Fee Arrangements

Since our focus is creating value and delivering results to our customers, our model needs to adjust the billing method to one that promotes effectiveness, efficiency, team work and incentivizes our attorneys and staff in order to provide the best legal product.

For the most part, a billable hour method fails to incentivize creativity and efficiency. It can also present an economical conflict with the customer because the more time a lawyer works on a matter, the more he/she will be able to bill. Nonetheless, we acknowledge that not all matters fit into an alternative fee arrangement method. That's why we provide alternative fee options, including straight billable hour arrangements if that is what works best for you and/or your company.

In most cases, we will try to provide certainty about your budget and when we sign our engagement, you will notice a 30 day period to discuss any adjustment to our billing (upward or downward) according to the value received by our service.
